From the young doctor in development economics heading to Japan and Southeast Asia to the Jungian analyst that I am now, a lot has changed in my life. Life transitions have been a constant for me.
I am also a father of two children (now young adults), with a career wife, so my personal and professional developments have also inevitably affected my family.
Understanding and communicating my internal motivations, negotiating them with myself and my significant others, has been a recurrent process in my life. However, it has never been a linear process, a straight line from A to B to C; instead, it has been a spiral way: meeting similar situations again and again. But always with a difference: what I observed and learnt from the previous experience.
Over time, I have come to believe that the foundations of a meaningful life require the awareness and the integration of the contradictory aspects of one's personality; learning to be emotionally present in our own life; a little luck and…a dose of humour.
The people I work with are, in general, people interested in their personal development, who face changes/challenges in their lives or, sometime, the lack of them.
With the person I work with, I try to create an individual, inviolable, safe space where one can become aware of one’s own patterns and tensions, mentally and physically. That leads to (re)discovering, (re)evaluate one’s own talents and resources and, in due time, sail confidently towards one’s own future. Additionally, I animate dreams’ working groups in French, English and Spanish.
I collaborate with IMD Lausanne in the Personal Development Elective programme for young managers and with an NGO to provide support to socially vulnerable groups..
