Backgrond:

After 10 years of working as an entrepreneur with reasonable success, I felt like I could finally direct my energy towards my passion – deep psychological approaches to the psyche. This was not an easy transition. In the end, I completed a Masters in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I arrived in the Dominican Republic in 2002 to complete my doctoral dissertation and, given the captivating cultural and professional opportunities, I ended up staying here for more than 20 years. Since being in Santo Domingo, I have participated in the creation of two group psychotherapy practices, the last being, Praxis Psicologia Integral, an expression of the accumulated experience on how to approach psychological healing in an integrated way. Additionally, I helped found the Centro Jung Santo Domingo, a psychoanalytic development group supported by the International Association of Analytical Psychology.

Now, I hope to broaden my approach by joining my Jung Institute colleagues in creating Centro Animas, an organization focused on providing psychological services to transitioning Spanish speakers in Europe. My areas of interest include – psychological and cultural transitions, family dynamics around money and business, young adults and life path decisions, themes of becoming fully oneself (individuation), as well as the unusual experience of coincidences of meaning (synchronicities).
